How much does brake repair cost?
It depends on whether it is pads only, pads and rotors, or a caliper, and on the vehicle. We do not publish prices; call with your year, make and model for a range, and the exact price comes after we measure the brakes.
Do I need new rotors with new pads?
Not always. If the rotors are above the minimum thickness and not badly scored or warped, they can stay. We measure them and tell you which case you are in.
Why is my BMW or MINI brake light on?
Most European cars have a pad-wear sensor that trips the light when the pad reaches its limit. The sensor is replaced with the pads.
Can I drive with squealing brakes?
Squeal usually means the wear indicator is touching the rotor: come in soon. Grinding means metal on metal: stop driving and call.
